Question:

Debbie and Frank converse about some common fitness myths and facts.

Answer:

Myth #1 - Most women believe if they lift weights, they will have big muscles

Fact: Women lack the amount of testosterone necessary to bulk up, especially following a normal weight training program. However, by strength training women will build bone mass, burn fat calories, strengthen joint connections, improve posture and make daily activities easier.

Myth #2 - Skipping breakfast will help you lose weight.

Fact: Researchers state that people who eat a nutritionally balanced breakfast are more successful at weight loss. The reason is breakfast jumpstarts the metabolism, like high test fuel in a car. Skipping meals or poor diet is the reason most people don’t lose weight. So begin your day by eating like a prince and conclude it by eating like a pauper.
